Nationalism in Action – Jackson from Patriot Front
After his victory representing Patriot Front at the Frontier 2024 event in California, we met up with Jackson to learn a little more about his backstory, his inspirations, and his advice for people in the dissident sphere.
How would you describe yourself?
White Nationalist, proud member of Patriot Front. Just a traditional Christian, western European man. American.
How did you get into combat sports originally?
Funnily enough it was Tai Kwan Do as a kid, but I actually lucked out and got into a school that was a little more combat oriented and what have you. But it still was a lot of point sparring and things like that but I stuck with it until I was about 16 and ended up getting my black belt and an extra degree on it, and was part of the demonstration team, things like that. That kind of morphed into a lifelong passion for it, so I ended up doing a bit of this and that here and there over the years.
How did you feel during your fight? What does it feel like in the ring?
Maybe it’s the same with everybody but for me I don’t really think at all when I’m fighting or sparring or anything of that nature. I kind of go into, as cliché as it sounds, a flow state type of feel to where I don’t really feel anything. I’m thinking some things logically, like if I get hit I’m kinda checking my circuitry making sure it’s all good, but other than that it’s all just kinda animalistic, y’know?
What keeps you motivated to keep being a fighter and an activist?
Honestly at the core of it, it’s probably the warrior ethos I have within, to be doing something to be fighting back against what I perceive as the degeneration of our nation and our society, and to fight against the degenerate side of myself, to stay on the right side of things and be a positive influence on the youth and a continuance of this movement in general.
Have you ever fought professionally in the past?
Not professionally, no. I’ve had an amateur MMA fight before, and some full contact kickboxing in my younger days, but other than that no professional bouts.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My grandfather. I was lucky enough to live right next door to him as a kid and so I kinda got raised more by him than I did my father, and just having that old school American attitude and way of life implanted in me at an early age and seeing how hard he worked and what he expected of himself inspired me to go forward and actually challenge myself to try and excel in life rather than just exist.
If you could tell people who are interested in the dissident lifestyle anything, what would it be?
Have pride in your own beliefs. Don’t be scared of yourself and your own beliefs. They might seem far off from the mainstream, or people in your family or around you might think of them as extreme but if you have a set of beliefs actually take pride in that and stand up for em. Do something. Get involved somehow to actually be about what you say you’re about and what you like to talk or think about. It goes back to even a biblical thing like “faith without works is dead” and beliefs without works are also dead.
